Dr. Agata Exner, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Research at Case Western Reserve University, OH, will deliver a talk titled "Theranostics Applications of Shell-Stabilized Nanobubbles" on April 29, 2025. This presentation will explore the emerging role of lipid-shelled nanobubbles in imaging and therapeutic applications within precision medicine.
An internationally recognized leader in molecular imaging and theranostics, Dr. Exner has been at the forefront of developing ultrasound-responsive targeted nanobubbles for biomedical applications, including cancer diagnostics and therapy. She is a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors, a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, and a Distinguished Investigator of the Academy of Radiology Research. With continuous NIH funding for over 20 years, her research also focuses on long-acting intratumoral drug delivery formulations.
