@Maria Nadeau @Shaukat Ali - thanks for the kind note, and for the warm welcome to the group! @Masumi Dave has indeed reached out to provide some more detail on upcoming activities and, like @Abu Serajuddin, I look forward to rekindling the spirit that has always advanced lipid based drug delivery, especially after the pandemic. It is a shame that PharmSci 360 is scheduled on the same dates as CPhI Europe, as many of us will need to choose between these 2 key events for the industry. I, for one, may not be able to attend, but again, wish to offer my time and support to see engagement - both in and outside the community - grow through not just recurrent, but also meaningful interactions. From that perspective, are there any plans to meet (virtually, I presume) between now and October?

Thank you very much for your question about the community meetings during PharmSci 360. The Lipid-Based Drug Delivery Community will be meeting on Tuesday, October 24 at 4:00 pm-5:00 pm ET in Orlando, Florida. We will be adding all of the community meetings to the PharmSci 360 program in August and the program will have the specific meeting location details.
The community membership meetings are open to anyone who is interested in attending. They provide you with an opportunity to meet the leadership, network with colleagues, and learn about the community's activities.

I recently joined the Community as an independent consultant, but with a legacy background, interest and, humbly, expertise in lipid based drug delivery that many of you will know, having championed the technology in my 13+ years with Capsugel through, among other initiatives, the Lipid Formulation Classification System. But since I have been somehow disconnected from the AAPS community of late, I would like to understand what the plans are for the upcoming PharmSci 360 meeting in Orlando: do we still hold meetings around the "Lipids Focus Group" as it used to be known? If so, what is its structure? Any feedback will be appreciated and, naturally happy to support any initiatives to get things going!
