Hybrid workflows involving immunocapture in combination with LCMS detection for analysis of oligonucleotide therapeutics.
Oligonucleotide therapeutics are an increasingly popular drug modality due to generally superior specificity of mechanism as compared to traditional small molecule therapeutics. There is a growing need to improve the bioanalytical tools used to characterize oligonucleotide therapeutics. To this end, over the past few years, several groups have reported on utilizing immuno-precipitation in combination with LCMS analysis (Hybrid LC-MS), resulting in improved sensitivity and specificity as compared to traditional approaches. Here, we bring together three panelists to discuss methodological considerations for Hybrid LC-MS assays, as well as how they compare to historical approaches.
