Open Scientific Discussion on Advanced Characterizations of LNP

1. Where do the largest opportunities lie in terms of leveraging advanced characterizations techniques to improve LNP potency/stability?
2. Several advanced characterizations techniques tend to be more difficult and have long turn over, what can we do for our QC colleagues from the current well-established techniques?
3. Should morphology be included in CQA if there is a structure-potency relationship? What attributes and other advanced characterizations techniques do you think should be included in the CQA?
4. The heterogenous morphologies of LNPs depend on the type/size of RNA, manufacturing processes, and raw materials which were identified using cryo-EM, SAXS, NMR, RAMAN, etc. yet it seems these LNP are potent. Do you believe there is a structure-potency relationship or other advanced characterizations techniques could be used? What are we missing?
5. How can we implement some of the advanced characterizations techniques for LNP process control?
