We have all had mentors during critical times in our lives that have influenced us to draw inspiration and do great things. This program will help facilitate these valuable interactions that are so important for our growing industry. Information on why and how to get involved:
AAPS' new Mentoring Program facilitates supportive, professional relationships between scientists based on their career experiences, networks, and goals. Mentees gain new information, ideas, and connections that help them grow their careers. Mentors develop new leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills that open the doors to further career opportunities.
Who can participate?
All participants must be AAPS members while participating in the mentoring program. Mentors commit to six months when they volunteer.
Mentees can be:
- Graduate and professional students
- Postdoctoral students
- Early career professionals
- Professionals looking to change career direction
- Professionals seeking career advancement advice
Mentors can be:
Professionals actively employed in industry, academia, government, consulting, and other fields in the pharmaceutical sciences
