    Dear AAPS Member,

    N
eedless to say MSE (Manufacturing Science and Engineering) is vital for the development of pharmaceutical products and therapies. Therefore, no surprise that the MSE Community is one of the largest in AAPS, but recently it has been dormant. This year board member Cindy Oksanen in an effort to revive the community formed the MSE leadership team shown below.  You can click here to join the MSE Community and watch for a short survey coming out in January. Looking forward to being a member of a vibrant collaborative community that provides a forum for growth and development.

    MSE Community Leaders:

Top Left: Chair Devalina Law, Ph.D., Vice Chair Rajesh Dave, Ph.D., Secretary Jennifer Chu, Ph.D.

Bottom Left: Learning Opportunities Managers: Bhavi Mittal, Ph.D., Gopi Rongala, M.S., Member Engagement Manager Carl Allenspach, Ph.D.

    Hello!

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Science and Engineering requires the education and knowledge of Pharmaceutics.

Please find herewith a complementary copy of the Handbook of Pharmaceutics, that I have compiled out of my collections from the year 1972 when I graduated from the University in Pharmacy. Hope this will be useful to you folks towards your professional activities.

    Thanks.

Alhamdo Lillah! It's my pleasure and gift towards professionals engaged with some responsibilities for pharmaceutical products, process development, manufacturing or reviewing these applications but did not have education or knowledge of Pharmaceutics in their academic career or even exposure to Pharmaceutics. Though it is extremely important for understanding the subject.  It is neither chemistry or chemical engineering. Hope this book will be of some help to those personnel.  Thanks.  Masih Jaigirdar
