Biomarkers and Precision Medicine Community (BPMC)

Hi everyone!

Together with the FDA director of the division of bioinformatics & Biostatistics, I'm a guest editor for a special issue on "Machine Learning for Pharmacogenomics and Precision Medicine" in MDPI Pharmaceuticals (more info here: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/pharmaceutics/special_issues/769PZ58971). Given the relevance to our communities, I wanted to invite all of you to contribute with an original research article or a review paper to this Issue. Also please feel free to forward this email posting if you know of anyone else who might be interested to participate. 

If this is of interest, it would be great to get a short tentative abstract (100–150 words) describing the topic covered in your contribution by the end of March (emailing me ([email protected]) and the assistant editor Estella [email protected]). The deadline for full submission is Sept 30, 2023. 
 
Pharmaceutics is an open access journal indexed by SCIE (Impact Factor 6.525, ranked Q1 in the category of Pharmacology & Pharmacy), PubMed, and Scopus, and is also a member of DOAJ. Papers accepted after successful peer review have an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 2600 Swiss Francs (CHF), which they said they are discounting 15% for the special issue.
