    Dear all,   
       We are pleased to announce that AAPS Excipient Community will hold a joint discussion meeting with In Vitro Release and Dissolution Testing Community on Wed Feb 28th 12-1pm US EDT. We'll have a USP subject matter expert, Sr. Principal Scientist, Dr. Margareth Marques, to give us a talk on the revised USP Chapter 1094 (Capsules dissolution and related quality attributes), focusing on capsule dissolution and related quality attributes. The changes came into effect on December 1, 2023. Capsules are an important yet special type of "excipient". Let's learn together how this USP chapter revision affects the use of capsules in dissolution testing, formulation and oral dosage form development. Look forward to seeing you next week!
