This year we encourage all of our WIPS community to check out the information at International Women's Day 2025
They have a call to action to post the pose photos to their site and to social media along with a personal statement how you as WIPS members support this year's theme. I attach mine to show you an example. I encourage both men and women in the AAPS community to consider a submission.
As a champion for women in science, I am committed to accelerating action that fosters equity, inclusion, and opportunity. I actively support initiatives that break down barriers, amplify voices, and create pathways for mentorship and leadership. By advocating for systemic change, fostering supportive networks, and driving forward policies that empower women, I strive to ensure that talent and innovation thrive in an environment where everyone has the opportunity to excel. Science is strongest when diverse perspectives are valued, and I am dedicated to making that a reality. As chair for @AAPS Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences (WIPS) we encourage our members to #AccelerateAction with their posts and in their workplaces.
