The AAPS PharmSci360 meeting will be held in sunny Orlando this year and is only a month away! There is a lot of very interesting content on biomarkers and precision medicine this year. In fact, I searched the program earlier today and the word "biomarker" popped up 57 times in program presentations and spanned multiple tracks including the "Discovery and Basic Research", "Preclinical and Translational Sciences", and "Bioanalytics - Biomolecular" tracks.
If you are interested in what some of the presentations will be about, check out the prologues that set the stage for some of these key symposium presentations: 2023 PharmSci 360 | AAPS Conferences.
To highlight a few, check out a Prologue on the "the Role of Biomarkers in Rare Disease Drug Development and Regulatory Approval" by @Lakshmi Amaravadi. This prologue highlights several symposium presentations from the FDA and Critical Path Institute speakers.
There are several symposium sessions on high content biomarkers including high parameter flow cytometry for single-cell analysis and multi-omics and biomarkers by LC/MS, and when and how to choose biomarkers to follow.
Don't miss the keynote presentation on "Biomarker Selection and Utility in Clinical Drug Development Today: Workhorses and Unicorns" by @Lindsay King. And don't forget the Biomarker and Precision Medicine Community membership meeting on Monday October 23rd 4-5pm EST at the Spotlight Stage C, Exhibit Hall West A4-B3.
See you there!
