    Them: do you mean resolutions?

Me: no. Tell me your plans to overthrow something.

I saw this today on a social media post and it stuck with me throughout the day. Resolutions are often hard to keep and are discarded before the end of January.  Let's give them a pass this year and try for something perhaps that takes longer but is needed. Revolutions are needed in many places but especially in our work places. Currently, women hold only 20% of executive positions in the top pharmaceutical companies in the world, which paints a stark picture of underrepresentation (Catalyst, 2023). Revolutions happen at all levels and need more than just women supporting other women to get there.

As your new Vice Chair I thought it would be agood topic to see what our members think are revolutions they can start this year for themselves, for their work groups, for their personal goals?

Hi Julia, I really like your post here but to be honest I being a young scientist I wasn't sure what my revolutions for this year should look like. May be it would be helpful to hear yours and that would give everyone a baseline to start chiming in more?
