As we reflect this Thanksgiving season, I want to express my gratitude to the amazing Nanotechnology Community for your contributions and commitment to advancing science. This year's PharmSci360 was a true testament to our collective passion and innovation.

The scientific program was phenomenal, and I particularly loved the nanotechnology-related talks delivered by members of our Nano Community Leadership Team, including @Ryan Pearson, @Fan Zhang, @Robert Arnold and @Xiuling Lu.  Your contributions truly showcased the cutting-edge work happening in our field.

I'm also incredibly thankful for the impactful publications we've worked on as a community. Highlights include:
Our article in the AAPS News Magazine on the latest trends in CAR-T cell therapy [https://www.aapsnewsmagazine.org/aapsnewsmagazine/articles/new-page2/sep24/cover-article-sep24c], and
Our recently accepted manuscript in Pharmaceutical Research on the role of AI and ML in the discovery and development of nanomedicines. These works showcase the breadth and depth of innovation within our community and the vital role we play in advancing science.

A special thank you to the amazing speakers who shared their expertise through webinars this year! Your contributions enriched our understanding and inspired meaningful discussions. Information about these webinars and speakers can be found in our newsletter on pages 12-14. For a comprehensive list of Nano Community talks, posters, and other contributions, check out pages 18 and 19 of our newsletter here: AAPS Nanotechnology Newsletter_2024_FINAL.pdf

I'm especially thankful for the opportunity to connect face-to-face at our Nanotechnology Community Meeting. It was inspiring to see our PhD students shine, whether in the 3-Minute Thesis Competition-where their creativity and talent were recognized-or through their insightful poster presentations across the conference. Seeing their enthusiasm reminds me of the bright future we're building together!

Here's a photo from our community meeting at PharmSci360 in Salt Lake City.  It was a joy to gather, celebrate our achievements, and envision what's ahead.

Wishing everyone in the Nano Community a Happy Thanksgiving!
