    Dear Global Health Community Members,

Hope you had a chance to attend the 2022 PharmSci 360 conference in Boston. We had our community membership meeting in Boston Convention Center on Monday, October 17 and our Chair, Dr. Joleen White, presented a summary of the invited webinars, community activities and the list of topics related to Global Health that were presented at PharmSci360. It was amazing that we had over twenty talks that have potential application in Global Health initiatives.

Considering the time difference worldwide, I would like to have our monthly meeting every second Friday of the month, 4 PM EDT.  Please indicate your availability in the following Doodle signup.

As current chair of this community, my major goals for 2022-23 are as follows,

      1. Substandard and counterfeit drugs
      2. Secure a speaker from an African country for a presentation on quality control and distribution of life saving drugs
      3. Coordinate with Gene and Cell Therapy Products community and arrange for a talk on,
        1. Supply chain of biological products in developing countries
        2. Production and quality control of vaccine, gene and cell therapy products in developing countries
      4. Treatment of rare diseases in developing countries
      5. Use of long-acting delivery technologies
      6. Differential pricing
      7. Global regulatory issues
    2. A newsletter article specific to Global Health
    3. Submit program proposals to 2023 AAPS PharmSci360, in line with the themes of Global Health.
    4. Profile a global R&D organization in the AAPS Newsmagazine.

We need active participation of members of this community. We can enthusiastically contribute to the goals of our community with all your participation.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you an idea for a webinar and/or would like to participate in compiling an article for the Newsmagazine. I will be glad to connect with you via email or Zoom.

    Have a great weekend.

    Regards. - Sudip
