I'm looking for insights from anyone who has transitioned between different serum separator tubes (gel vs non-gel or other) midway through a study (along with associated changes, such as centrifugation temperature adjustments). Specifically, I would appreciate your thoughts on the partial validation activities required to support such a switch from a bioanalytical perspective.
Additionally, while it's well known that gels in SSTs can bind small molecules, has anyone encountered cases where they bind biologics?
I'd appreciate any experiences or guidance you can share.
