Hello all!.
If you've received a link to an AAPS salary survey, please take a few minutes of your time to respond. It's very quick and provides important information such as the key factors correlating to annual salary.
In 2022, gender played an important role in annual salaries with an 18% higher median salary if you're male versus female. The 2022 report goes on to state that when other contributing factors are considered, such as experience, education, and responsibility, the apparent gender discrepancies are explainable.
What are your thoughts around the disparity in annual salary by gender? What impact, if any, does implicit bias have on experience, education, and responsibility?
