    A reminder to everyone that the deadline for Programming Proposals for 2026 AAPS NBC is quickly approaching on Sep 26th.  See the announcement here: NBC - American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists

    As part of the Scientific Programming Committee leading "Track 1: Applying Translational Principles Across the Development Lifecycle" along with @Amritangshu Chakravarty@Swetha Thiyagarajan, and @Joleen White, we would like to invite you to submit your programming proposals. Some focus areas of particular relevance to this group are:

    • organoid, in silico models, in vitro models, and New Approach Methodologies (NAMs)
    • AI-informed and genetic-driven target selection
    • how to reach previously undruggable targets
    • high-content sample analysis such as high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS)
    • new biomarker identification including omics approaches
    • reverse translation to validate preclinical models
    • PK/PD, PBPK, and QSP models
    • challenges accounting for variability in small data sets including Phase 1 and rare diseases
    • how to include women of child-bearing potential in trials
    • AI and machine learning in trial design
    • selection of patient population likely to respond
    • evaluating clinical risks from immunogenicity seroconversion
    • integrating data across multiple patient populations
    • building initial exposure/response models
    • clinical pharmacology such as drug-drug interactions
    • clinical validation of biomarkers including companion diagnostics
    • post-marketing surveillance
    • regulatory review of mechanistic data
    • validation of prognostic biomarkers and covariates that modulate response
    • prediction of patient response to different medication options
    • expansion to new indications
    • recognizing successes in work involving novel modalities
