Dear AAPS Community Members,
The Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences Community is thrilled to introduce “AAPS Women's Spotlight Series”. Each spotlight will feature a scientist from various AAPS Communities showcasing her challenges, experiences and advice.
With this series, we aim at uncovering the “Scientific Self” from interviews with these diverse women that are paving the way forward. We hope that it brings to forefront the challenges and barriers faced by women in pharmaceutical science and the progress made so far. Our goal is to inspire and motivate the community, especially students, early career scientists and women facing a glass ceiling.
If you have someone who you think has an interesting perspective, background, or is changing the landscape in which women serve, please nominate her for the spotlight series. Nominees are not required to be executives, as we strive to recognize women in the pharmaceutical sciences for a variety of reasons including leadership, influence, integrity, advocacy, mentorship.
